Apply for the UK passport after receiving the naturalisation certificate?

I am an EU citizen and I have just applied for the UK citizenship.
I have a question regarding the UK passport application.

Is it possible to travel in and out of the UK with my EU passport after I have attended the citizenship ceremony and received the naturalisation certificate? Or should I apply for the UK passport immediately in order to be able to travel abroad?

How long does it usually take to receive the naturalisation certificate once finished with the citizenship ceremony?

How long does it usually take to receive the naturalisation certificate once finished with the citizenship ceremony?

No time at all, you are presented with the certificate at the ceremony. But it will take time to get a British passport, there are long delays being reported. If you need to travel, do so with your EU passport as noted above, as you will need to send your current EU passport to apply for the British one, and supporting documents take even longer to be returned after the British passport.
