  • Application submitted or from biometric day?if council the utility Bills not accepted what they want to see?

What date of application means? From biometric submitted in visa centre in Pakistan. Or online submitted date?

You have applied for a European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS) family permit. To help us progress the application, please provide the following:

    • Evidence of residence in the UK for the relevant EEA Citizen sponsor

You have stated in your application form that you are joining your relevant EEA Citizen sponsor in the UK. As part of eligibility requirements for your visa is that the EEA Citizen is resident in the UK at the time of the application.

Can you provide evidence that your relevant EEA Citizen sponsor was resident in the UK at the date of your application?

What type of evidence of residence you can provide can be found here EU Settlement Scheme: evidence of UK residence - GOV.UK . Please note that I require evidence of the EEA citizen's residence in the UK at the 'date of application' and therefore some of the documents within the link will not be applicable such as council tax bills, utility bills or other documents that may have been issued months before the date of application.

    Morning,

The above text clearly refers to the date of the application, that would be when the application was submitted online, as it can often take time to find a biometrics appointment.

The reason they don't want council tax bills is also noted below, since they are issued for a whole year, usually early in the year, they wouldn't show that the sponsor was actually here when the application was submitted, probably 6 months later. The link also has a list of documents that cover shorter periods of time, which include utility bills as well as bank statements showing physical transactions in the UK.

Has the EEA national sponsor been granted pre-settled or settled status?

I am the Site Manager and Webmaster, please refer to our Admin Team, Roles and Responsibilities. If you think we have helped in any way, please support us so we can keep helping others secure their status, it is now more important than ever now EEA nationals are subject to the same immigration requirements as non EEA nationals and require proof of valid status in the UK.
