  • Sister's pre settled status

    Dear Admins
    .
I live in the UK for 3 years, i've got the pre-settled status. My sister want to live here with me, but after the Brexit is not so easy to move here. I am so confused. Is she can apply for a pre-settled status? She my family member. Or is she need a visa? If she need a visa, which one? She's 19 year old. She's completed the ID document check applicationt, but after this the visa application ask for details of her parent or guardian but I am just her brother. I do not know what can i do now. If you need more information, please let me know. I hope someone can help for me and my sister.

    Afternoon,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, however, the route for extended family members, which included siblings, closed at the end of last year. The reason why they are asking for details of her parent or guardian is because only close family members, such as parents/grandparents, children/grandchildren and spouses/civil partners, are able to apply since the beginning of 2021.
