    Morning,

We do have a place for success stories, but these are for all sorts of applications: citizenship, settled status, family permits, etc. We do have some who have applied for family permits for their parents or in-laws, you may want to use the search box: Success stories - UKCEN Citizenship and Residence for European Nationals and their families

Do bear in mind that a large number of applications were submitted at the end of last year, due to the end of the transition period, and have continued this year, due to the forthcoming requirement to prove dependency after the end of June (only if the application is submitted AFTER that date, not if it was submitted earlier and not yet decided). That means they are taking longer than before, not to mention the ongoing virus malarkey, which doesn't affect much those applications that can be done entirely online, but if the passport had to be sent by post, then they have only skeleton staff working in the offices to handle paperwork.

None of the above affect the chances of success in any way, just increase the time it may take to get a decision. You can always contact the resolution centre if this was an application for pre-settled status for an EU national made from abroad, as opposed to a family permit (only for non EU nationals), as the resolution centre does not deal with those.

I am the Site Manager and Webmaster, please refer to our Admin Team, Roles and Responsibilities. If you think we have helped in any way, please support us so we can keep helping others secure their status, it is now more important than ever now EEA nationals are subject to the same immigration requirements as non EEA nationals and require proof of valid status in the UK.
