  • Success Child's Naturalisation Confirmation

    Hi,

I just received an email confirming our (wife and my) application for naturalisation is successful.

However the email doesn't mention anything about my daughter's (minor) application. How do I check her status?

    Timelines:
    Application submitted: Sep 21, 2020
    Biometrics: Oct 17, 2020
    Email Received: Nov 23, 2020

    Thanks for all your help.

It's not unusual for family members who applied together to get decisions at different times. Especially children, since the process of registration is not the same as naturalisation, their applications could be assigned to different caseworkers who deal with registration.

There is no facility to check the status of an application, you can only get in touch with them by email once it's been over six months. But I've not yet seen a single child application not being successful, so there's nothing to be concerned about.
