  • Submit documentation before BRP appointment

    Hi everyone,

sorry if this has been already been posted but I could not find the answer.

Im applying for naturalisation and I've uploaded the documentation on UKVCAS.

Do I need to click SUBMIT for this before my appointment, or is it ok if I go to the appointment just having it uploaded as it is now?

It says that once submitted nothing can be changed, so Im wondering what happens if after the BRP appointment I realise I need to upload something else?

    thank you

    Hello,

You can still upload documents after you submit them, however, you can't remove the ones you've already uploaded, and you should upload everything before the appointment, unless you paid for one that includes scanning services. You shouldn't really bank on uploading more documents after the appointment. Afterwards, if the caseworker needs further evidence, they would contact you asking for it, but in that case, it should be sent by email as instructed, as opposed to uploading it via the UKVCAS screen.
